Open Door Baptist Church of Catalina, Arizona was a new church plant that began on February 14th, 2010, meeting at the Golder Ranch Fire Station Training Facility. On May 23rd, 2010, the Charter service was held with 24 members. God has proven Himself faithful from the beginning to build His Church. After meeting in the Fire Station Training Facility for the first two years, God opened the door to move locations to the S.I.L. campus (Summer Institute of Linguistics). This is our present meeting location - 16131 N Vernon Drive, Tucson AZ.
From the beginning, the focus of our church has been to evangelize, baptize and disciple the lost in Catalina. Over the years, we have been able to expand this focus to reach all over the world through missions giving. We currently support 14 missionary families.
